At work from 9am until late today so had to be organised to get my Janathon run done and blogged before heading off whilst leaving enough time for a shower and breakfast... and bloody hell was it cold out there!
Out the door at 6:15am, off on my stock out and back route through the village and whilst the strong winds of yesterday had thankfully gone, a clear sky meant sub-zero temperatures. Nobody else about - only one or two cars in the time I was out - meant for a quiet run that was a fair bit faster than recent runs. Probably fuelled by the knowledge I had limited time this morning and probably something to do with going faster to get warmer?
Note for future short, early runs... put the hot water on before I go out. The timer, I learn after a particularly cold shower, doesn't come on until 7am. Still, nice and fresh for a day at work now.
Oh... and I've passed 50 miles ran for January.
Day 13 stats :-
Distance : 3.25miles
Time : 29:18
Music : The Beatles - Please Please Me (1963)
