One of the things I want to use Janathon for is to encourage me to run some routes a little further afield than the normal routes. Okay, days 1 and 2 were my "stock" out and back run but this afternoon I drove 6 miles up the valley to Ystalyfera and had a run along the Cwmtawe Cycleway, a superb facility that enables cyclists, walkers and runners to travel all the way to Swansea 14 miles away nearly completely avoiding the roads.
Wife, daughter and one of our 4 dogs "Doug" (a shihtzu cross draft excluder recently taken on initially as a foster case from a
local rescue) came along for a walk therefore this time we have pictures.
Day 3 stats....
Distance : 4 miles
Time : 37:28
Music : Black Crowes' superb early 90s album "Amorica"
And the pictures...
Great photos. Like the waterfall. I ran most of #Juneathon 2011 on cycleways in Manchester. They are brilliant for running. Good luck with the rest of #Janathon.
